Seminars topic: Understanding the Characteristics of Academic Paper Publishing from the Perspective of Journals

Scholars Background: ZHANG Yuangang is a professor and graduate supervisor at the School of Tourism, Shanghai Normal University. He holds a Ph.D. in Management and a postdoctoral degree from Fudan University. He serves as Associate Editor of Tourism Science, and Youth Editorial Secretary of Economic Geography (CSSCI), and is Deputy Secretary-General of the Compilation Working Committee of the Geographical Society of China. He is also Editor of World Regional Studies and was selected into the “Outstanding Talent Support Plan” of Anhui Province as a tourism expert. His long-term research focuses on rural tourism, destination revitalization, and land management in tourism.

As first or corresponding author, he has published more than 80 papers in SSCI/CSSCI journals such as Tourism Management, Tourism Geographies, Journal of Travel & Tourism Marketing, Acta Geographica Sinica, Geographical Research, Progress in Geography, Natural Resources Journal, Human Geography, and Tourism Tribune. He has presided over more than 10 national research projects including National Natural Science Foundation and Ministry of Education humanities youth foundation projects.
