Launched in 2017, PIEGL is a two-year program taught in English to
cohorts composed of international
students from universities worldwide. The program is academically rigorous while
incorporating core practical elements enriched by
experiential learning opportunities. The program emphasizes global leadership by integrating core aspects of innovation
management and entrepreneurship to nurture business leaders. In addition, the program promotes a deep understanding of emerging markets and equips students with the skills to work in multicultural environments.
The program focuses on building the leadership skills needed to manage global businesses. Based on an action learning model, it offers access to business consulting projects with our outstanding corporate partners.
The program is delivered by ZJU-SOM professors, visiting scholars, and adjunct professors who are internationally recognized experts in their fields. Based in Hangzhou, China’s most innovative and entrepreneurial city, the program enables you to open your mind and broaden your vision.
The program gathers excellent students with different professional goals, backgrounds, and cultures to facilitate peer-to-peer learning.
The PIEGL program integrates core precepts of innovation management and entrepreneurship to develop outstanding global leaders. Throughout the seven-part, two-year program, you will study, live, and work with an international group of peers, infusing your academic studies with intercultural exchange. A mixture of case studies, lectures, action learning projects, company visits, and cultural events ensures a rigorous and complete learning experience.
This part equips you with an entrepreneurial mindset and skills necessary for a global career.
Students will be divided into different consulting project teams. Together with faculty and company executives, they will have opportunities to provide business consulting services for selected corporate partners.
The students are required to attend at least 6 research or practice seminars.
Students are required to write their master thesis under the supervision of ZJU-SOM professors.

-Once application documents are received, Admissions Committee will shortlist the candidates for the interview. Overseas candidates will be interviewed online.
-Interview invitation will be sent to the email provided in the application form.The admission result will be made on the basis of competitive selection according to the students’ academic performance, study plan, interview performance and the university’s final review.

- Accommodation on campus: ~ CNY 18,000 (Zijingang campus)
