The SDG “Sustainable Consumption and Production”Global Summer School is a two-week program that bridges theory and practice through interactive lectures, inspiring excursions, and hands-on exercises. Participants will learn to identify and address sustainability issues from both the production and consumption sides, across three major areas of sustainable development: environmental sustainability, cultural sustainability, and social sustainability. The program is delivered by ZJUSOM faculty alongside invited experts in fields such as innovation, entrepreneurship, marketing, tourism management and more.
Gain a deep understanding of the circular economy and its application in business models and supply chains
Explore the concept of the dual transition (sustainability and digitalization) and learn how to manage cultural heritage sustainably.
Learn to design practical, real-world interventions that change behavior and promote responsible consumption.
Evaluate consumer psychology, green marketing, and behavioural economics principles.
Examine the role of sustainable tourism development and assess how social entrepreneurship and collective action can revitalize rural communities and foster local economic growth.

Students from the school’s partner universities: the program tuition fee is waived.
On-campus accommodation (single room): 120 yuan per day
Facilities includes bed, mattress, desk, chair, locker, air-conditioning, hot water supply, bathroom, campus wired and wireless network
* Local transport, accommodation, meals and other expenses are to be borne by the students.
Students are required to purchase overseas insurance before departing for China.
