The Zhejiang University Full-Time MBA Program (GMBA) is built around the theme of Digital Innovation and Global Leadership. It is design to cultivate business changemakers and leaders with global leadership capabilities in the age of digital intelligence. Foucusing on the deep integration of digital technologies and business innovation, the program helps students strengthen their strategic thinking, cross-cultural communication skills, and global leadership. It supports their growth from participants to leaders in a new phase of globalization and encoursages them to contribute to the sustainable development of a community with a shared future in the digital age.
Digital Innovation
Based in Hangzhou, one of China’s leading hubs for the digital economy and AI innovation, this pillar focuses on frontier topics such as digital transformation, AI application in business, and data-driven decision-making. Studenets are encouraged to connect classroom learning with real-world business procative and develop the ability to respond to emerging business trends.
Global Leadership
Grounded in the context of new globalization, this pillar draws on coursework in the cross-cultural leadership, global strategy, and sustainable development to help students build a global learning perspective and career development network. It strengthens their ability to lead and collaborate effectively in complex international environments.

Application Materials and Instructions
Applicants must log in to Zhejiang Universitys Online Application System for International Students (https://intlstudent.zju.edu.cn/#/login), complete all required fields clearly, and upload the following materials as instructed:
Highest Degree Certificates-Graduating students must submit a pre-graduation certificate or a certificate of student status issued by their current university. The original or notarized copy of the degree certificate must be provided no later than the registration date.
Academic Transcripts (Bachelors Degree Studies)-Graduating students must submit transcripts covering all completed semesters up to the time of application.
Language Proficiency Certificates-Minimum requirements: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 90.
Personal Statement-Written in Chinese or English, including but not limited to academic background, work experience, motivation for application, and study proposal. Minimum 1500 words.
Two Letters of Recommendation-Preferably from full professors or associate professors in the relevant academic field. Each letter must include the referrers signature, phone number, and email address.
Published Academic Papers or Other Academic Achievements (if applicable)
Commitments for Zhejiang University International Student Application(downloadable)-The PDF version must be clearly and completely filled out and hand-signed.
For applicants who have renounced original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizens:
1.Document certifying the cancellation of Chinese citizenship
2.Document certifying the cancellation of Chinese household registration
3.Document certifying the acquisition of foreign citizenship
4.Self-Statement Form of Nationality Status and Nationality Confirmation and Guarantee Letter
For applicants who automatically acquired foreign citizenship at birth in a foreign country, with both parents or one parent being Chinese citizens:
1.Document certifying the acquisition of foreign citizenship at birth
2.Document certifying the Chinese citizen parents permanent residence in a foreign country before the applicants birth
3.Self-Statement Form of Nationality Status and Nationality Confirmation and Guarantee Letter (downloadable)
Once all application documents are submitted, the Admissions Committee will shortlist candidates for an interview. Interviews will be conducted by phone or video conference, and invitations will be sent to the email address provided in the application.

Have at least 3 years of work experience after obtaining a bachelors degree (degree certificate obtained before September 1, 2024); or at least 5 years after obtaining a junior college diploma (diploma obtained before September 1, 2022, applying with equivalent academic qualifications); or at least 2 years after obtaining a masters degree (degree certificate obtained before September 1, 2025).
This program is delivered mainly in English. Applicants are expected to have excellent English proficiency in business administration across listening, speaking, reading, and writing, be able to adapt to the full English instruction of an internationalized teaching environment, actively participate in classroom and after-class discussions, and complete individual or team coursework at a high quality.
