Seminars topic: This forum explores how business cases are used in academic research, teaching, and practical applications. Through in-depth discussions and real-world examples, the event aims to provide insights into effective case development, instructional strategies, and how cases can bridge theory and practice in business education and industry collaboration.

Scholars Background: Prof. SU Ning is a faculty member at Ivey Business School, Canada. His research centers on innovation management, digital transformation, global strategy, government policy, and qualitative methods. His academic work has been published in journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, MIT Sloan Management Review, and Decision Sciences. Prof. SU has authored over 70 business cases, covering topics such as corporate innovation, internationalization, entrepreneurship, AI, big data, fintech, and platform business models. His case “How ChatGPT Started a Revolution” was named one of Ivey’s Top 10 Global Best Sellers in 2023. His cases have been widely adopted by business schools and corporations in over 50 countries and regions. He is also a recipient of Ivey’s Teaching Excellence Award and was named one of Poets & Quants’ “Top 40 Under 40 Business School Professors” globally. Prior to academia, he held roles at McKinsey & Company and IBM Research.
