Seminars topic: This lecture focuses on how intelligent IoT (Internet of Things) technologies can empower innovation in the culture and tourism industry. It will examine strategies such as cross-sector collaboration, intelligent integration of scenic areas and technology, and the development of smart tourism research institutes and innovation centers. Real-world projects and initiatives will be used to showcase practical applications and insights for advancing smart tourism.

Scholars Background: YUE Tiejun is General Manager of the Cultural and Tourism Industry Division at Haikang Weishi. He leads the cultural tourism division and has pioneered multiple major strategic projects in cooperation with scenic destinations such as Mount Tai, Yulong Snow Mountain, Huangguoshu Waterfall, Jiuzhaigou, and Qujiang. These initiatives include the establishment of the “Smart Tourism Research Institute” and the “Innovation Center for New Scene Applications,” which aim to bridge scenic environments with cutting-edge technologies. His work has continued to deepen integration within the cultural and tourism sectors by exploring innovative applications and boosting industry-wide digital transformation.
