Speaker’s Introduction: LI Mimi, professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She has led two Hong Kong Government Optimal Allocation Research Funds and three National Natural Science Foundation projects, as well as several internal research projects at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. With a total research amount of over HKD 10 million, she has published nearly 50 papers in the journal SSCIQ1 and was ranked in the top 2% of scientists worldwide for four consecutive years from 2020 to 2023. Professor Li is a member of the editorial board and holds several social positions in top international academic journals such as Tourism Management, Journal of Travel Research, Youth of Destination Marketing and Management and Asia Pacific Journal of Travel Research. Professor Li Mi holds a Bachelors degree in Physical Geography from Peking University, a Masters degree in Human Geography from the University of Waterloo in Canada, and a PhD in Tourism Management from Purdue University in the United States.
