On October 30, 2020, the opening ceremony of the new building of the School of Management Zhejiang University was officially held outside the new building in the west district of Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University.

"The new building of the School is composed of the public space, meeting rooms, classrooms, professional laboratories, lecture halls and other diverse spaces, with a total construction area of 55,000 square meters ……", said by Senior Associated Dean ZHU Yuan at the beginning of the ceremony.

With great excitement, Prof. WEI Jiang, Dean of School of Management Zhejiang University expressed his sincere gratitude to the support of Zhejiang University leadership, generous donation of alumni, and hard work of all faculty of the School.

He also said that “the new building is an important space carrier for SOM ‘to be a world leading management school rooted in China’. Standing on this new starting point, all faculties, students and alumni of SOM will remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind to build SOM into a world leading business school in the near future.”

In the end, under the common witness of all participants, Mr. ZHANG Xi, Former Secretary, the Communist Party Committee of Zhejiang University & Chairman, the Development Committee, Zhejiang University announced that “the new building of School of Management Zhejiang University is officially opened today!”
