Under the context of “One Belt and One Road” Initiative, School of Management joined CEEMAN-Central and East European Management Development Association in June 2016, as the first school in Mainland China to become a CEEMAN member.
CEEMAN is an international management development association established in 1993 with the aim of accelerating the growth in quality of management development in Central and Eastern Europe. Now it is a global network of management development institutions interested in quality of education and innovations in this field, as well as in the broad area of subjects related to change.
In September last year, Dean WU Xiaobo and Associate Dean ZHOU Weihua attended the 23rd annual meeting of CEEMAN in Almaty, seeking for more cooperation with business schools in the area.
Earlier this year, CEEMAN president Prof. Danica Purg was appointed as a member of the International Advisory Board of the School of Management, Zhejiang University. She was invited to the board with an aim to advise the school to enhance global positioning and increase global exposure.
