“Leading for the Future” Global Business Leadership Program took place in ZJU-SOM during July 4^th and July 12^th, 2016. Twenty-five students from UNSW and twenty-eight students from ZJU-SOM joined the program. At the opening ceremony, Associate Dean ZHOU Weihua extended his warm welcome to all the participants. Program manager from UNSW Business School Mr. Shahid Majeed gave an overall introduction to leadership component.

The ten-day program consisted of lectures, company visits, cultural immersion activities and three-day leadership component. On July 6^th, participants had a business trip to Wensli, a local silk company. Head of Human Resources Department Mr. WANG Qunfeng shared the company’s transforming process and business scheme with participants. Later participants had a visit to the silk museum of Wensli Group and learnt how silk was produced. On July 7^th, participants went to Cross-border Trade town and listened to FBCC’s CEO Mr. FENG Qinglong’s entrepreneurial experience.

During the three-day leadership component carried out by Mr. Shahid Majeed, participants were grouped into eight. They completed several challenges including Case Strategy, Team’s Got Talent, Strategic Navigation and etc. It was an opportunity for participants to learn from different personalities and how to enhance teamwork.
