On June 19-22, the 6th International Association for Chinese Management Research, IACMR Conference was held in Beijing. As the next host in 2016, the School of Management of Zhejiang University was invited to join the conference. Renowned research experts such as XU Shuying, CAI Hongbin, Victor Nee, Luis Gomez-Mejia and many others attended the opening ceremony. Prof. YI Zhihong, Vice President of Renmin University issued the Recognition Plaque to the School.
A special exchange meeting was held for the School as the next IACMR Annual Meeting host in 2016. Prof. ZHOU Weihua, Associated Dean of the School hosted the meeting, and over 50 scholars attended the meeting. Associate Dean CHEN Ling expressed his gratitude to all participants and introduced the social and economic development in Zhejiang and achievements of the School in recent years. Prof. WEI Jiang from Department of Business Administration introduced research work of ZJU-SOM innovation management team.
In the next session, participating professors from ZJU-SOM exchanged opinions freely with other guests. They also met with Chair of the 2016 IACMR Conference Prof. Ray Friedman. He expressed his best wishes to the next conference in Hangzhou.
