School of Management Zhejiang University signed an agreement about upgrading strategic cooperation with Emlyon Business School on November 7, 2014. Prof. WU Xiaobo, Dean of ZJU-SOM and Prof. Bernard Belletante, President of Emlyon Business School signed the agreement on behalf of the two schools. Prof. Tugrul Atamer, Vice President of Emlyon, Prof. Jean-Yves Bouvet-Marechal, Chief Operating Officer of Emlyon, and Prof. ZHOU Weihua, Associate Dean of ZJU-SOM attended the signing ceremony.

The two parties had an in-depth talk upon the future cooperation, which included establishing a joint institute, launching double degree programs, structuring joint research center, exchanging students and academic staff, and looking for corporate support, etc. The agreement also set the timetable for the implementation of cooperation.

By far, ZJU-SOM and Emlyon have been working consistently close on two programs, named Global Entrepreneurship Program (GEP) and World Entrepreneurship Forum (WEF). Standing on this solid ground, the upgrade of the two parties strategic relationship serves the joint interests of both in order to strengthen the cooperation as well as to improve international influence of both.
