Last night, Zhejiang Business Leaders of the Year 2010 was announced at Golden City Golf Villa.

TU Hongyan, ZJU EMBA student and Executive Chairwoman of Wensli Group was declared as one of Zhejiang Business Leaders of the year 2010. TU is awarded for her practice in promoting silk products and culture in the 16th Asian Games Guangzhou. During the opening ceremony of the Games, more than 10,000 athletes, 9,000 reporters and 30,000 audience were wearing the silk bandana from Wensli.

With an increase in the price of raw material and in labor cost, the silk industry in 2010 has experienced many hardships. Nevertheless, TU Hongyan, a business woman who is dedicated to promoting silk products and culture to the world stage, has lighted up silk products in both Shanghai Expo and the Asian Games. Under her leadership, Wensli Group has seen remarkable achievements on innovation and has updated its branding strategy by incorporating traditional Chinese silk culture with modern lifestyle.
