Scholars Background: Associate Prof. Peng Yijie is a Research Scientist at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Peking University. His research focuses on AI methodologies and innovative optimization approaches. He has received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has led multiple industry-sponsored projects with contract values exceeding one million RMB. His work has been published in top-tier journals including Operations Research and INFORMS Journal on Computing. Dr. Peng received the INFORMS Outstanding Simulation Publication Award, becoming the only scholar from mainland China to win the award in more than 40 years. He also has publications forthcoming in INFORMS Journal on Computing in 2024.
