Seminars topic: Generative AI (GenAI) tools are opening up new possibilities in modern education as they allow educators to efficiently create diverse content with little effort. In this talk, Dr. Dennis Benner will present insights and lessons learned from using GenAI tools to produce educational content such as videos and podcasts, and what these developments mean for the future of digital education and teaching.
Scholars Background: Dennis Benner is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Information Systems at the University of Kassel, Germany. He holds an M.Sc. in Business Information Systems from the University of Göttingen and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Kassel. His research focuses on conversational agents, generative AI, interaction design, IT innovation, and digital education. His work has been published in leading information systems outlets such as Information Systems Frontiers and Transactions on Human-Computer Interaction (THCI), and at premier conferences including CHI and ICIS.
