Seminars topic: Digital technologies require new ecosystems to succeed, especially in institutionalized industries like precision agriculture, healthcare, and energy. My research explores how digital solutions can be co-created with B2B customers and how to build and manage innovation ecosystems to make these solutions mainstream. Unlike B2C models, ecosystem management here is multipolar demand-driven, and requires both top-down and bottom-up collaboration.

Scholars Background: Wim Vanhaverbeke is Professor of Digital Strategy and innovation at the University of Antwerp. He specializes in digital transformation, innovation ecosystems, and open innovation, with work published in top journals. As Editor-in-Chief of Technovation, he is a leading academic in his field. He co-founded the European Innovation Forum and advises companies on innovation strategy.
