Workshop’s Topic: The seminar is a reprise of the co-evolution of the vast body of knowledge comprising the field organizations (i.e. the firm) with a focus on directing attention to the dynamics driving new geopolitical developments - emergence of China as an innovation economy; the rise of trade blocks and a new order of global trade; impact on MNEs global strategies and management of global supply chains; and the transformation of industries (e.g. rise of the global BEV automotive industry); and the unfolding of the age of AI and its consequences for work, jobs, innovation, management and organization design. These dynamics are evolving at a time that the liberal democracies are facing the crisis of Capitalism and the entire world is facing global warming.
