Speaker’s Introduction: LI Hengyun received his PhD from the University of South Carolina in 2018, where he was also his supervisor. He is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, Hong Kong Polytechnic University (with tenure and early promotion). His research interests include business intelligence, platform economics and multimodal big data analysis and prediction. He has published more than 70 academic papers, with a Google Hindex of 33. Several papers have been selected as highly cited ESI papers, cited nearly 3000 times on Google Scholar, and is involved in several national patent applications. Hosting (or co-hosting) National Natural Science Foundation, Hong Kong Government Research Grants Council Research Fund, University of Hong Kong Education Grants Committee Fund, etc. Honored with the Best Paper or Nomination Award at four well-known international conferences, the nomination for the Outstanding Academic and Research Award of the President of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Outstanding Young Researcher of the College, the Outstanding Research Award of the College, the Breakthrough Research Scholar Award of the University of South Carolina in the United States, and the National Outstanding International Student Scholarship, among other awards. LI Hengyun currently serves on the editorial board of several top journals in the field of ABS4.
