Workshop’s Topic: This seminar aims to gather students to discuss (A) the importance of data in civic awareness, decision-making and achieving sustainable development goals; (B) the challenges faced by data generation and usage; (C) the efforts made by the United Nations globally to overcome these challenges. Meanwhile, the seminar will discuss the work of the United Nations Statistics Division, and the upcoming United Nations World Data Forum in Hangzhou, China. The spokesperson will also talk about their feelings when working at the United Nations, as well as provide guidance for students interested in international civil service careers.
