2021-10-25

School of Management, Zhejiang University (ZJU-SOM) and The University of Sydney Business School (USBS) have a vibrant research relationship and launched a partnership agreement this year. The school-level partnership has built on the strategic agreement launched several years ago between the two universities. To showcase the current collaboration and research strength of both universities, and to establish a platform for multi-disciplinary research to tap emerging issues in the contemporaneous business world, ZJU-SOM and USBS jointly held a research workshop on the theme of Digital transformation, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and the Future of Business on Oct. 22nd. Over 50 researchers and students attended the workshop and had a live discussion.

The research workshop was composed by three different sessions, namely Sustainability and Supply Chain Innovation, Digital Health and Entrepreneurship, Cross-border Ecosystems and Employee Wellbeing, presented and discussed by professors from ZJU-SOM and USBS.

In the end of the workshop, Prof. John Shields of USBS and Prof. ZHOU Weihua of ZJU-SOM made the closing speeches. Both sides hope to further enhance cooperation in terms of joint publication opportunities, potential research, joint PhD supervision and funding supports, etc.
