OnJuly 12th, 2018, 15 undergraduates from the Zhejiang University School of Management, led by Dr. XIANG Jian, a lecturer from the Department of Marketing, and Ms. BAI Yujie, Coordinator from International Cooperation and Accreditation Office arrived at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to participate the 3rd Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summer School. The summer school is held in turn by the School of Management of Zhejiang University, the College of Commerce of National Chengchi University, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In the next ten days, a total of 37 participants from three universities will be involved in business lectures, business project practices, company visits, and cultural experiences.

Dr. LU gave a welcome speech and emphasized the purpose of the innovation and entrepreneurship camps with four Cs: convergence, connection, collaboration, and community. Dr. XIANG said that there was still a long way to go in innovation and entrepreneurship among mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and he hoped the summer school could go further. Professor ZHENG proposed two more Cs based on 4C, which are commitment, a journey of co-creation, and continuance, in the hope that everyones business plan and friendship will be sustainable.

After the opening ceremony, all the participants grouped together and enjoyed an array of ice-breaking games, such as slam-dunking, using the straw to roll the ball model, which enhanced mutual understanding and communication between each other.
