This is a Final callfor papers for the 9th European Conference onInnovation and Entrepreneurship- ECIE 2014being held at the University of Ulster Belfast, UK on the 18-19 September 2014.
This closing date for Abstractsubmission is the 27 February 2014.
Thetheme of the Conference for ECIE 2014 is "Societal-driven innovationand entrepreneurship". To set the scene, the conference will be openedwith a keynote presentation by Roberto Santoro (Italy) President of theEuropean Society of Concurrent Engineering Network (ESoCE Net) who will addressthe topic “PEOPLE OLYMPICS FOR HEALTHY and ACTIVE LIVING”: A People DrivenSocial Innovation Platform.
We warmlyinvite practitioners, academics, and people in the field of policy making topresent their research and to share their experiences in a broad range of areasrelated to the new trends in innovation and entrepreneurship. Topics can berelated to all types of organizations (SMEs - YICs - spin-offs - MNEs – privateand public research centres – Universities – Government Institutions).

Academic research, case studies andwork-in-progress/posters are welcomed approaches. Thereare a number of publication opportunities available. For example: Papersaccepted for the conference will be published in the conference proceedings(indexed in the WOS and by Scopus), subject to author registration andpayment. Selected papers that have been presented at the conference will alsobe considered for a special issue of the International Journal of Innovationand Regional Development and the International Journal of TechnologyMarketing, journals published by Inderscience. In addition selected paperswill also be considered for a special issue of the Journal of Entrepreneurship,Management and Innovation (JEMI).
