ZJU EMBA Study Tour set off in April 2014. There are two routes this year, Europe and North America, and over 50 EMBA students took part.
Entrepreneurs nowadays have to deal with international competition; therefore, a globalized vision is especially important for today’s business leaders, and for business schools as well. The 15-day of overseas study tour is a compulsory module of the EMBA program, which would provide students with opportunities to study in world-class universities and visit top companies.
The study tour in Europe lasted for 15 days, with visits in Switzerland, France, and the United Kingdom. Students took classes in HEC Paris, Cass Business School, University of Cambridge and University of St. Gallen. Apart from that, students also made site visits to International Olympic Center, Patek Philippe Museum, Lance Champagne Chateau, Manchester United Football Club, Land Rover headquarter, the Financial Times headquarter and Burberry headquarter.
In the United States and Canada, students visited and took lectures in Stanford, Harvard, Yale, MIT, and West Point. They also communicated with executives from world-renowned companies such as Intel, Google and Liquor Control Board of Ontario.
