Professor CHEN Ling, Associate Dean of School of Management was invited to attend UNESCO’s International Congress “Culture: Key to Sustainable Development” held from May 15 to 17 in Hangzhou, China. Professor CHEN delivered a keynote speech titled “The Chinese Private Business Development and Its Role in Culture and Public Policy: Zhejiang Entrepreneur as an Example” at the session of “Public Private Partnerships in the culture sector.” He raised examples of Wensli Group and Fotile Group to illustrate how important Zhejiang enterprises improved the quality of their products and services by engaging in culture preservation. On the last day, the congress announced The Hangzhou Declaration after intensive discussions by more than 400 participants, experts, and leaders around the world.
