Scholars Background: HOU Yuansi is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management at the School of Business Administration, University of Macau. She has previously taught at several top business and tourism management schools in the UK, including as a Reader in Marketing at Queen Mary University of Londons School of Business, and as an Assistant Professor at Durham Universitys School of Business and the University of Surreys School of Hotel and Tourism Management. Prof. HOUs research focuses on the application of experimental methods in consumer psychology and service marketing within the context of tourism and hotels. She has published numerous academic papers in leading international journals in marketing and hotel tourism management, many of which are highly cited ESI papers. Additionally, she serves as a member of the editorial board for several prestigious journals in the field of tourism management, including the Tourism Management Journal, Journal of Travel Research, and Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research.
