Workshop’s Topic: The upcoming speech aims to offer a comprehensive exploration of the combined concept: safe sustainability. It investigates reliability, safety and maintenance engineering, with a specific emphasis on minimizing emissions and energy consumption. This concept recognizes the importance of maintaining safety requirements while simultaneously prioritizing environmentally friendly practices. Some research projects and valuable experiences from Norwegian research institutions, as well as the offshore, wind power, and hydrogen industries, will be presented. These examples will showcase practical applications and innovative solutions that exemplify the principles of sustainable safety and safe sustainability.
