Workshop’s Topic: The Walmart Foundation promotes research in various areas of food safety in the supply chain in China and supports the Walmart Food Safety Collaboration Center in Beijing. Two of the projects relate to the pork and poultry industries. This research presentation focuses on the aspect of integrated food safety supply chain management system in these two industries. The system is cloud-based and uses Power BI for data analysis and data visualization of the system and includes the dynamic risk assessment and blockchain components of the project. Data collection takes place on the farm, in the production facilities and in the retail markets.
