On September 11, opening ceremony of 2021 ZJU-SOM postgraduate students was held in the Golden Hall of SOM, which was also broadcast to the 2021 postgraduate students from home and abroad.

Professors and student representatives extended their wishes to the new ZJU-SOM students. Dean WEI Jiang welcomed new postgraduate students and elaborated the value, mission and vision of ZJU-SOM. He hoped that students would keep the mission in mind, contribute to the development of the country and share the inspiration of Zhejiang University to others in their future life.

Prof. YANG Yi, the representative of academic supervisors, addressed and hoped that students could develop themselves as excellent talents with social responsibility.

Senior student representative, LI Sihan, doctoral student of cohort 2018, welcomed new students in his address and suggested them could not only concentrate on self-development, but also consider making contribution to society.

After the opening ceremony, Dean WEI delivered the first lesson of the semester to new students, enabling them to have deeper understanding of the importance of innovation.
