About the Speaker: Junjiro Shintakuis a Professor of Corporate Strategy in the Graduate School of Economics at the University of Tokyo, Japan, where he also serves as Research Director of the Manufacturing Management Research Center. His research interests are technological innovation and corporate strategies, strategies for emerging market, production networks in Asia, and international standardization and business models. He has written and edited many books, including  Corporate Strategies in Emerging Markets (2015),  Global Strategy of Manufacturing Management (2009), Strategic Use of Consensus-based Standards (2008), Architecture-based Analysis of Chinese Manufacturing Industries (2005), Economic Analysis of Video Game Software Industry (2003), and Dynamism of Competitive Strategies (2001).
